Michael E. Gatrell, age 67 of Marion, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in Marion.
Michael was born on December 3, 1950 to the late James and Delores (Millisor) Gatrell. Michael attended Marion Harding High School.
He loved spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He also loved to cook. Michael is survived by his loving wife Margie Gatrell, they spent 36 loving years together; his children: Bethann Gatrell, Thomas (Sherri) Gatrell, Danielle Jones and Ashley (Nicholas Keith) Gatrell; his wife’s parents: Les and Marilyn Gorrell; his brother Rick (Char) Gatrell; sisters: Patty (Mike) Cusik and Sheryl Spruill; 10 grandchildren: Josh Huffman, Megan Gatrell, Hali Gatrell, Jaisha Holmes, Chase Jones, Sommer Gatrell, A’shiah Harris, Taevia Harris, Ashton Gatrell and Abby Gatrell; one great grandchild Zayden and numerous nieces and nephews.
Michael is preceded in death by his daughter Heidi Gatrell, son Michael Gatrell and sister Kathy Brown.
The family will host a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
