Pauline R. Layne left this world peacefully on Sunday, September 9, 2018, from the Fairhaven Community, Upper Sandusky, Ohio at 12:17 AM surrounded by her loving family.
Pauline was born in Tram, Kentucky on June 22, 1931, the daughter of the late Cecil & Hattie (Ratliff) Robbins.
On January 14, 1949 she married Billy C. Layne in Marion, Ohio and he preceded her in death on May 11, 2001.
She is survived by two sons; Rick (Amy) Layne of Little Rock, AK., & Greg (Patti) Layne of Marion, OH., a daughter; Rita (Michael) Lehner of Marion, OH., and sadly missed by her 10 grandchildren & 14 great grandchildren whom she loved.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Billy, two brothers, and six sisters.
She was a founding member of the First Freewill Baptist Church on Crissinger Rd. Her work history included a cashier at the G.C. Murphy Co., working at the Plastic Film Co. in Marion, and an assembler at the B.F. Goodrich Co. for nearly 10 years.
The family will be receiving friends Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the First Freewill Baptist Church, 1449 Crissinger Rd., Marion,. Pastor Jerry Copley will conduct the funeral service in the church on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with burial to follow in the Green Camp Cemetery.
