Thomas E. " Tommy Two Tone" Shifflet age 60 of Marion, Ohio went to be with the Lord Thursday, June 2, 2011 at his residence.
He was born June 15, 1950 to the late James F. and Jacklyn Marie (Lahr) Shifflet.
Tom asked Jesus into his heart- October 2010, he was a member of Bethesda Anointed Ministries with Pastor's Denver and Vicki Combs.
Tom was an auto body man by profession, he loved to restore old wrecked cars and trucks. He always said he loved to make something ugly beautiful again. Tommy Two-Tones the man with the magic hands. Tom had many friend's and co-workers through the years, he worked in many auto body shops in Marion, Collin's, Inskeep, Bennett Chevrolet, Advance Collision, Buckeye, and Rollison's auto body.
He is survived by a son, Rodney E. Shifflet of Marion, OH., three brothers, James Monroe "Rick" Shifflet of Bucyrus, OH., Randy Lee Shifflet of Marion, OH., Patrick Burl Shifflet of Chillicothe, OH., special friends, Tracy Dawn Layne of Marion, OH., and her children, Amber Nichole Barnhart, Latisha (Steve) Lewis, Craig H. Layne Jr., Keelin James Barnhart, they will miss Tom dearly he was a part of this family for years. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Cindy Sue Willis and Dixie Shifflet.
A Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 6 PM at the American Legion #584, 142 Olney Ave. on his Birthday. Everyone is invited to come and share in Tom's rememberance.
The Boyd-Born Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for the family. Memorial Contributions may be made to the family in care of the Boyd-Born Funeral Home.
