Joan C. Wood, age 79, of Galion, died Tuesday morning, June 14, 2011, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital.

The Wood family will greet friends from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the Snyder Funeral Home, 76 S. Main St., Mount Gilead.  Services honoring her life will also be held there on Friday at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Gary Lamb-Hart officiating.  Burial will follow in Bryn Zion Cemetery.
