Steve L. Potter, of Marion, passed away peacefully at his home June 24, 2011.
He was born on July 16, 1955 to the late Franklin R. and Reable (Mullins) Potter in Virgie, KY.
Survivors include his daughters, Tara (Brian) Sisson of New Orleans, LA and Stephanie Potter, his son Benjamin Potter and stepchildren, Erica Kelder and Tony Kelder all of Marion. Additionally he was survived by four grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Potter’s is also survived by his sisters Jean (Ronald) Cochran, Connie (Tom) Kuhar, Faye Dutton, Tina (Mike) Barlow and brothers James Fred Potter, Ed Roberts (Mary) Potter all of Marion. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Mary Potter, niece Sheena Walker, and brother-in-law Richard (Pepper) Dutton.
Steve loved his family, friends, truck, and rock music. He was always the life of the party. His love of life and sense of humor will forever be instilled in his family and friends.
Family will receive friend from 4:00 P.M. till 8 P.M. Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Richland Road Church of Christ, 525 Richland Rd in Marion, OH. Funeral services will be held at 10 A.M. Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Richland Road Church of Christ followed by burial at Grand Prairie.
