Adaline Davidson went to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday morning, May 27, 2010. She passed away at Sterling House of Marion.
Adaline was born August 8, 1916 in Marion to the late John and Oda (Uncapher) Roseberry. She was married to Robert E. Davidson on June 21, 1951 in Marion.
Adaline worked at the former Quaker Oats Company in Marion for over 30 years before retiring. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church for 60 years. She was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. She also volunteered for the Red Cross at Marion General Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, R. Brent (Keren) Davidson of Marion, and Mark A. (JoAnn) Davidson of Wooster, Ohio; two grandchildren, Brian (Ashley) Davidson of Sunbury, Ohio, and Whitney Davidson of Marion; five nephews, Steve, Dick, Bruce, Jerry, and Ken; and four nieces, Debbie, Sandy, Judy, and Vicki.
Adaline was preceded in death by her husband who passed away May 12, 1993; two brothers, Carl and Clarence Roseberry; and her sister, Ruth (Dale) James.
Calling hours will be held Monday, May 31, 2010 from 5-7 PM at Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 1 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Schuring officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery.
