Paul L. Dasher, age 85, of Marion died on Friday evening, July 29, 2011, at 6:35PM at the Marion Manor following an extended illness.
Paul was born in LaRue, Ohio on February 21, 1926, to the late Walter L. and Mabel (Miller) Dasher. He graduated from Waldo High School in 1944. On June 11, 1948, he married Martha I. Augenstein, who survives.
A man of strong faith, Paul was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed teaching Sunday school, farming and hunting.
Paul was preceded in death by one brother, Walter Eugene Dasher.
A funeral service honoring Paul’s life will be held at the Denzer-Farison-Hottinger & Snyder Funeral Home, 360 East Center Street, Marion, on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at 2PM. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 1pm until time of service. Pastor Rick Farmer will be officiating and burial will follow in Grand Prairie Cemetery.
