Beverly White, 55, passed away Monday, August 1, 2011 at O.S.U. Medical Center following an extended illness.
Born Beverly Ann VanWay on October 5, 1955 in Marion, Ohio to Richard and June (Betz) VanWay, she was a 1975 graduate of Marion Harding High School.
She was employed at Delaware Court Health Care Center in Delaware prior to qualifying for full-time disability. She was an active member of International Pentacostal Church of Christ in Marion, and participant in the Eye-to-Eye support group for the blind.
Beverly is survived by husband, David of Marion, sisters (all of Marion) Brenda Gilbert (and Friend Rick January); Becky (Paul) Tanner; and Betty Gibson; nine nephews and nieces; and numerous grandnieces and grandnephews.
She was prceded in death by her parents and son Irey Walker Jr. and daughter Bonnie Walker in 1998.
Arrangements are being made by the Boyd-Born Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 @ 1 PM at the Boyd-Born Funeral Home with Rev. william Houck and Rev. Wallace White officiating. Visitation for family and friends wiil be held Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 12 – 1 PM at the funeral home.
