Darlene M. Beckel, age 68 of Richwood died Friday evening, May 28, 2010 at her home following an extended illness.
She was born May 13, 1942 in Columbus to the late Rollie and Catherine (Young) Toy.
She married Robert C. Beckel in 1991 and he survives in Richwood.
She is also survived by a son, Mitchell (Marlo) Walker, Logan; a brother, Terry (Elana) Hamner, Stockport; two sisters, Kathy (Douglas) Huston, Logan; and Cheryl (Martin) Smith, San Antonio, Texas.
She was an art instructor, teaching out of her home. She enjoyed camping and going on cruises.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, Richwood with Pastor Matt Craig officiating. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 7 PM on Tuesday.
