David Wayne Garver, age 45, of Wadsworth, Ohio was born on July 7, 1966 ti Donald Wayne & Gert (Edler) Garver who survives. He passed away on August 24, 2011 at Akron City Hospital, due to a short illness of cancer.
He married Danah Shepherd of Marion, OH on August 7, 1990 and she survives in Wadsworth, Ohio. David is also survived by his children, David W. Garver, II of Langley, VA, Holly (Nick) May, Rachel "Mickey" & Julia Garver of Wadsworth, Ohio. Also survived by sisters Laura (Scott) McCrery and Carol Kennedy (Jim Patterson) of Marion, Ohio. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He graduated from Marion Harding H.S. in 1984. He served and retired from the U. S. Navy in 2008 after serving 20 years.
David was proceded in death by his grandparents: John Ammon Edler, Betty Edler Robinson, Clarence Garver, Virgie Garver, and Mae Longshaw.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society, American Heart Assoc., American Lung Assoc. or The Marion First Church of the Nazarene.
