Carrie R. Hindman/Merchant age 35 of Marion passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 12, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.
Born in Marion January 3, 1976 to Steve and Bev (Grady) Hindman who survive.
Also surviving Carrie is her life partner of over 17 years Daniel R. "Dan" Merchant, a sister Heather (Don) Hook, son Troy, daughter Hunter. She was a stepmother to Alex, Zach, and Anja. Also survived by grandmothers, Eleanor Eaches,and Veda Hindman, nieces, Kelsi and Emilee, nephews D.J. and Cody, along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by grandfathers, Dick Hindman and Ernie Eaches and aunt Vicki Butcher.
Carrie graduated from Tri-Rivers in 1994 and worked at Osbourne Accounting for eighteen years as a Payroll Clerk.
She was an avid Boyd's Bear Collector. a strong Michigan fan, and very patriotic minded. She loved and enjoyed her family and her dog "Lizzie that Mangy Dog". A trip to Gettysburg was her favorite place to visit.
Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011 at First Church of The Nazarene 233 West Church Street. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, September 16, 2011 at First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Steve deWeber officiating. Burial will follow in St Mary's Cemetery.
