The Ohio Department of Transportation says road work planned for State Route 4 on Friday has now been moved to Monday, April 9, because of some issues with the equipment. ODOT says motorists using State Route 4 between State Route 423 in Marion County and US 33 in Union County should plan extra time for their commute.
From 8:00am until 8pm, rumble strips will be installed into the double yellow center line. ODOT says the machinery is so large, flaggers will stop both directions of traffic for five minutes then let traffic go by before stopping traffic again.
All work is weather dependent; it may be postponed or cancelled without prior notice.
