Central Ohio Farmers Co-op recently presented several local students as winners of their 2012 agricultural scholarships. The awards are in the amount of $1,500 each.
This year’s winners are:
- Lauren Prettyman of New Bloomington,
- Sarah Harp of Sunbury,
- Nathan Turner of Harrod,
- Brock Goodman of Cardington, and
- Julie Wagner of Marion.
Their hard work and determination is what sets them apart and will serve them well as they strive to reach their collegiate goals,” stated Betty Stanforth from the Central Ohio Farmers Co-op Scholarship Selection Committee.
Stanforth said Farmers Co-op, a full service farm cooperative, is happy to invest in the future of agriculture.
