The Marion County Park District will hold a dedication ceremony on Friday, June 8th at 2:30pm at the Marion Tallgrass Trail, 2309 Holland Road West. The public is invited to attend the event which will include the unveiling of a new sign.
The sign was donated by the Marion Rotary Club.
The park district will also have a special meeting at 1:00pm on Friday, June 8th at the trail for the purpose of discussing funding mechanisms. The meeting is open to the public.
