Free Produce Offered Through WIC Farmer’s Market

On Tuesday, July 17, from 10:00am to 1:00pm, the Marion Public Health WIC Program will be sponsoring a Farmer’s Market Nutrition Program at the Marion County Fairgrounds. The WIC Farmer’s Market will give eligible WIC participants a chance to enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables through a coupon process.

Eligible WIC participants can receive up to 5 coupons worth a total of $15. Each coupon is worth $3 and coupons will be issued on a first come first serve basis to women and children age 12 months and up to 5th birthday who are currently participating in the WIC program.
