Marion General Hospital Names Vice President

OhioHealth Marion General Hospital recently announced the promotion of Terri DeTano, MSHA, MPH, RRT, to the position of vice president of operations integration and quality. In this role, DeTano will facilitate the smooth operational integration of new business units with Marion General and the OhioHealth system. She will continue to lead the quality and compliance arena as well.

DeTano has been with OhioHealth since May 2006, first as vice president of Ancillary Services at Morrow County Hospital and, for the last three years, at Marion General Hospital leading quality and compliance efforts. Prior to her tenure at OhioHealth, DeTano held leadership roles at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Sidney, Ohio, and with Mercy Health Partners in the Toledo area.

She holds master’s degrees in public health from the University of Toledo and in health services administration from Central Michigan University. She was recently named a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the nation’s leading professional society for healthcare leaders.

DeTano resides in Marion where she is board chair for Downtown Marion, Inc., and council chair of Leadership Marion Advisory Council. Her memberships include the American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Association for Respiratory Care, and the OhioHealth CEO Advisory Council.
