Dancing in the Park to Promote Exercise as Being Fun

In honor of National Dance Day, Edye Cook's School of Dance is hosting "Dancing in the Park" on Saturday, July 28, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Their goal is to promote dance as a form of exercise and have a lot of fun at it in Busby Park at the corner of West Center and South Prospect Streets in downtown Marion.

The event is free, but donations would be appreciated. The evening will offer a showcase of dance by the Edye Cook dancers, a free Zumba class and an open dance floor with a DJ.

In addition to the dancing, there will be refreshments and a bake sale.

Dancing in the Park is open to all ages and organizers urge you to bring your friends and family to support exercise and the arts in Marion.
