“Dedication is not what others expect of you, it is what you can give to others.”  Donald E. Swanger lived his entire life being dedicated and giving everything he had to his family, to the children of his baseball teams, the booster club, and to his church.

Don died on Friday, October 21, 2011, at his daughter’s residence surrounded by his loving family following an extended illness.  He was 83 years old and lived in Marion, Ohio.

Wanda Jean Wells age 64 passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at her residence.

Born September 18, 1947 in Marion to the late Velma Tanner and George M. Tanner who survives.

Wanda was a member of VFW in Delaware and enjoyed golfing.

Born April 13, 1938 in Marion to the late Harold and Latisha (Hunt) Scheitler.

Marilyn Ann Mulvane – McDaniel age 78 of Caledonia passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning October 18th at home.

She was born in Marion on June 5th, 1937 as the daughter of the late Donald & Sylvia (Harris) Huffman.

Anita M. Dittler age 73 of Green Camp, Ohio, passed away Tuesday October 18, 2011 at the Convalarium of Dublin, Ohio.

She was born February 23, 1938 in Marion, Ohio to the late Kenneth Snare, Sr. and Edna (Burns) Akers.

Donald R. Schrote, age 83, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at the Partners of Marion.

Donald was born in Richland Township on January 1, 1928 to Harvey Wesley and Lillian L. (Beckel) Schrote.

He was a graduate from Cardington High School in the class of 1946.

Paul Edward McKenzie, Sr., age 57, of Marion, passed away on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Marion General Hospital.

Paul was born in Marion, Ohio on February 11, 1954 to Edward and Beulah Marie (Cantrell) McKenzie.

Gerald W. “Jerry” Stringfellow, age 70, of Marion, died peacefully on Sunday morning, October 16, 2011, at the Kingston Residence following an extended illness.

On June 27, 1941, Jerry was born in Orville, Ohio, the son of the late A. Doyle “String” and Marie (Tyrell) Stringfellow.

Louis E. “Lou” Erwin, age 81 of Richwood died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the OSU Hospital East in Columbus.

He was born July 10, 1930 in Westerville to the late Chester “Sam” Erwin and Pauline (Carothers) Vance.

Clarence C. Brunton age 82 of Marion, Ohio, passed away Sunday October 16, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

He was born February 25, 1929 in Jackson, Ohio to the late Dale and Mabel (Wastier) Brunton.
