Knute Roberts, age 78 of Richwood died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, October 12, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

He was born December 8, 1932 in Richwood to the late Charles and Ruth (Pritchard) Roberts.

He was first married to the former Joan Laucher and she preceded in him in death.  He then married the former Marianne (Hunt) Foreman on April 5, 1962 in the Richwood First Baptist Church and she died April 17, 2002.

Arcelia I. McElroy age 89 of Marion, Ohio, formerly of Britton, Michigan passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born September 30, 1922 in Britton to the late Royal and Sylvia (Pilbeam) McElroy.

Samuel V. Hartley, age 72 of Richwood died early Wednesday morning October 12, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

He was born July 6, 1939 in Marion to the late Charles and Ella (Priddy) Hartley.  He was also preceded in death by a son, Samuel Hartley, two brothers and three sisters.

J. Marlene Loren age 72 of Marion, Ohio passed away Sunday mornning October 9, 2011.

Marlene was born March 5, 1939 in Marion, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Zelma (Denton) Dennis.

Also preceding her in death was a brother, Clifford Dennis Jr., sister, Delores Shenefield and a step son & step daughter in law, Robbie and Vicki Loren.

William “Bill” Urick, age 80, of Marion, passed away on Friday evening October 7, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

On January 11, 1931, Bill was born in Ashland, Kentucky, the son of Lou M. and Ella Frances (Fields) Urick. Bill served his country during the Korean War as a Marine and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Grover S. "Dodie" Dunn age 89 of Marion, passed away Friday, October 7, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

Born in Marion February 16, 1922 to the late Albert and Katie (Schweckendick) Dunn.

Grover was a WW II Army Veteran. He served in the Philippines.

Harold H. Hayes, age 95 of Marion and a former 42 year resident of N. Franklin St. in Delaware, passed away Wednesday October 5, 2001 at home.

He was born on July 24, 1916 in Nitro, West Virginia to the late Alpha F. and Delia (Huffman) Hayes, the youngest of 12 children.

Sarah M. Wycoff, age 61 of Delaware died early Friday morning, October 7, 2011 at Grady Memorial Hospital.

Born in Delaware on March 25, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Arvin and Iva (Morris) Thomas. A lifelong resident and homemaker, she was an auxiliary member of AMVets Post 104 and Delaware Moose Lodge.

Carol A. Jester Smith age 50 of New Bloomington, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 6, 2011 at The Cleveland Clinic.

She was born December 29, 1960 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to the late Harold H. and Helen K. (Hornbeck) Jester Sr.

Marguerite Solomon Fogle, of Marion and formerly of Prospect, passed away on Thursday evening, October 6, 2011, at the Marion Manor Nursing Home.  She passed peacefully leaving many family and friends to celebrate her wonderful 91 years of life.

On December 28, 1919, Marguerite was born in Prospect, Ohio, one of five children of the late Frank and Winona (Biggerstaff) Solomon.
