Maxine F. Bont, age 86, of Mount Gilead, died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the Kingston Residence of Marion following a long illness.

On July 3, 1924, Maxine was born in Ashley, Ohio, the daughter of the late Owen Walter and Frieda Bell (Wood) Denton.

Michael P. Roberts age 65 of Marion passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Partners of Marion. Graveside services will be held at St Mary's Cemetery, Friday, April 22, 2011 with Father Michael Nimocks officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Gunder/Hall & Folk Funeral Directors.

Lenzie E. Blanton age 66 of Marion, Ohio passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at his residence.

He was born February 11, 1945 in West Portsmouth, Ohio to Daniel B. and Marie L. (Bailey) Blanton.
On July 7, 1995 in Upper Sandusky, Ohio he married Carolyn J. (Reams) Blanton.

Ruby I. LaVette, age 80, of Marion, went to be with the Lord on Sunday evening, April 17, 2011, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital following a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.

On February 17, 1931, Ruby was born in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of the late Leonard Richardson and Mary Elizabeth (Ward) Richardson Crowder.

Gary David Snell Sr., 59, of Delaware, passed away at home on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at his home surrounded by his friends and family and friends.

Gary was born on July 24, 1951 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio to the late Donald H. and Mary F.G.

Gloria Jean “Jones” Marvin, 63, of Marion passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Riverside Methodist Hospital.

She was born June 17, 1947 in Marion to the late George Junior and Virginia (Drake) Wells.

Marilin Ann Friley went to heaven to be with the angels Saturday, April 16, 2011. Infant daughter to Joey A. and Kristi A. (Robinson) Friley.

Walter G. Plaul age 62 of Marion passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at Marion General Hospital.

Born in Circleville, Ohio to the late Walter G. and Sarah E. (Griffey) Plaul.

Walter graduated from Northridge High School in Johnstown, Ohio in 1967. He married JoAnn (Wells) Plaul on February 27, 1968.

Jerry Gates age 65 of Caledonia passed away Friday, April 15, 2011 at his residence.

Born in Marion  to the late James A. and Goldie M. (Dolittle) Gates.

On June  29, 1969 Jerry married Brenda (Christian) Gates and she survives.
