Lewis T. Jester, Jr., 89, Marion, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 30 at home in Marion, Ohio, in the company of his family.

Lew was born in Newport News, Virginia on August 22, 1920, the first child of Lewis Sr. and Annie Lash Jester.

Angela “Angie” Lavonn Hudson, 42, of Marion, passed away Monday, May 31, 2010.

She was born October 9, 1967 in Ironton, Ohio to James and Betty (Hamilton) Spence. She married John Hudson in Marion on January 3, 1987.

Betty June Jerew, age 86, of Marion, Ohio, passed away Monday May 31, 2010 at Marion General Hospital.

She was born June 10, 1923 in Marion, Ohio to the late Vance and Edith (DeWeese) Carpenter.

Lori A. Potts, 44, of Marion died unexpectedly Saturday May 29, 2010 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus.

She was born in Steubenville, Ohio on December 29, 1965, the daughter of the late Edgar R. and Nancy Yvonne (Alloway) Potts.

Charles Arthur Hans Newcombe, age 23 of Prospect passed away early Friday morning, May 28, 2010 at home.

He was born June 20, 1986 in Columbia, South Carolina to Ralph Edwald and Gloria (Redlich) Newcombe who both survive in Prospect.

John F. Ridgway, age 84, of LaRue, died suddenly Friday May 28, 2010 at 10:11 AM at University Hospital in Cincinnati.

He was born September 20, 1925 on Hardin County to the late Keith B. and Frances (Myers) Ridgway. On March 28, 1948 he married Marian L. Friddell and she survives.

Rose Marie "Reed" Granger, Brook Park, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at East Park Retirement Community, Brook Park, Ohio, surrounded by all her six children.

Reed and her twin sister Pat were born on June 25, 1932 to Leo "Doc" and Clara Cusick.  She was a graduate of Marion St. Mary's High School and The Ohio State University School of Radiology.

Darlene M. Beckel, age 68 of Richwood died Friday evening, May 28, 2010 at her home following an extended illness.

Carolyn A. Milligan age 66 of Marion, Ohio peacefully passed away Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Country View of Sunbury.

Clyde Roy Compton, age 83 of Mt. Gilead passed away Saturday morning May 29th, 2010 in Community Health Care Center of Marion.

He was born October 14th, 1926 in Virginia the son of the late Wallace & Altie M (Hess) Compton.
