Irene May (Klingel) Sanborn, age 89, of Delaware died Thursday May 27, 2010 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware.

She was born on January 13, 1921 in Marion, the daughter of the late Edward and Grace (Hensel) Klingel.

Irene was a 1939 graduate of Waldo High School.

Charles C. Martin age 69 of Marion passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at Dayton Veterans Administration Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio.

Born October 9, 1949 in Dante Virginia to the late Curtis C. and Nannie (Grizzle) Martin.

Charles was a U.S. Army Veteran, he retired from Probst Supply and worked part time at River Bend Camp Grounds.

She was born June 16, 1926 in Waterloo, Ohio to the late Charles and Mary (Spillman) Sparks.

Rodney J. Rish, 71, of Marion

Rodney J. Rish, 71, Marion, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2010 in Marion General Hospital.  He was born on August 2, 1938 in Kenton, Ohio to the late Delmar and Helen (Shumaker) Rish.

Rodney graduated from Kenton High School and served in the Army.  He was honorably discharged in September of 1967.  He worked and retired from Whirlpool after 45 years of service to the company.

James C. Sloan, of Marion

James C. Sloan, born June 25, 1919 in Marion passed away May 23, 2010 in Athens where he had resided the last three years.

A graduate of Marion Harding High School, Sloan served in the Army Air Corps in World War II and received 2 bronze battle stars including for the battle of Midway.

Frances Burton, 90, of Marion

Frances Burton, age 90, of Marion, and formerly of West Virginia, died Monday, May 24, 2010, following an extended illness at the Heartland of Marion Nursing Home.

Born on November 25, 1919, in Red Star West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Emeline (Bunch) and Alex Mackey.
