Marion Recreation has teamed up with Challenger Sports to host a week-long British soccer camp during the week of June 14-18, at the Glenwood Soccer Complex.

Mid-Ohio All-Star Cheerleading, 2876 Harding Highway East, in Marion will be hosting try-outs for its 2010/2011 competitive cheer squads.  

The tryouts are scheduled for May 2, 2010 at 1:00pm and are for any age.

Scarlet, Gray & Pink Before OSU Spring Game

Prior to the Men’s Lacrosse and Spring Football games at Ohio Stadium on Saturday, April 24, fans are invited to join Ohio State students for a one-mile walk on campus to celebrate the life of Stefanie Spielman and continue to fight breast cancer.

Registration and check-in for the walk begins at 8 a.m. on the South Oval. The opening program with special guests and the Walk for Stefanie will follow at 9 a.m. After the walk, which will circle the central campus area, a resource fair, refreshments, and entertainment will be available on the West Plaza of the Ohio Union.

Marion County High School Bowling Tourney Set

bluefusion entertainment is holding the First Annual Marion County High School Bowling Championships. This tournament will be held at bluefusion on Saturday, April 24, starting at 10:00am.

Bowlers must be students at the school they are representing. Trophies and scholarship prize money will be awarded. Winners will also be permanently enshrined in bluefusion’s Hall of Fame area behind lanes 1 thru 4.

Meeting Scheduled For RV Youth Football

River Valley Youth Football is having an informational and sign-up meeting April 7th at 7:00pm in the River Valley High School Auditorium. This meeting is for all returning and new players and cheerleaders for upcoming grades 4th through 6th.
