Helping the Marion Homeless Shelter

As a pastor (The Shepherd’s Fellowship) in the area, I have seen the great work that the Marion Shelter Program does for those in our community. Like many in our area, a new awareness of the financial struggle of this service arose with the recent news of additional cuts being made to make ends meet.

After meeting with some of the leadership of the program, I walked away excited and impressed about the long-term plans that are being laid out to move forward as an agency and meet the financial needs. However, it is on my heart to find an answer to the nagging question that many are thinking at his time, “What can the community come together and do to help during this time?”

So, with this in mind, I have put together an effort to invite you to join us in helping with the immediate needs by donating to this cause where all funds raised will be to the Marion Shelter Program.

Please consider visting our on-line fund raiser and helping out! This is the same service you heard about helping raise over $600,000 for a verbaly abused school bus monitor. We can surely use it to raise some funds to help our area homeless shelter. Thank you for being part of the solution! Blessings!
