The Ohio State University at Marion will host Alina Kiryayeva on Thursday, March 12, 2015 as part of the 2014-2015 Five Nights on Campus performing arts series.
Ukrainian-born pianist Alina Kiryayeva gave her first recital at age eight and made her orchestra debut at age eleven. She completed her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at The Julliard School, and has been praised for her powerful command of the instrument and clarity of sound. Kiryayeva captivates audiences with her Moving Pictures show, using unique interpretations and virtuosic fireworks of nearly unplayable transcriptions.
All performances are held in Morrill Hall Auditorium on the Ohio State Marion campus. Season tickets are available at $35 for adults ($50 adult patron), $30 for seniors, and $15 for students. Individual performance tickets are also available at $10 for adults, $9 for seniors, and $4 for students.
