This Sunday, December 14, 2014, the public is invited to sing their favorite Christmas songs played on the Marion Palace Theatre’s Mighty Wurlitzer. The sing-a-long begins at 3:00pm.
The program will last just over an hour and feature local organists Thomas Buffer and Angela Carbetta, along with Columbus theatre organist Shawn Kenney.
The organ has a drums, cymbals, castanets, chimes, and a xylophone. Attendees will get to hear Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Jingle Bells and Santa Claus is Coming to Town with bells and a train whistle. And it really does have bells and whistles, even soft bells for Silent Night and chimes on O Come, All Ye Faithful.
Donations will be accepted for organ maintenance and repair.
Tickets are not required for the free show, but seating is first come, first served.
