The Marion County Fair will host a Veteran’s Day Celebration on Friday, July 4, 2014 at the new Picnic Pavilion. Veteran’s will be admitted free that day, just bring your military ID or discharge papers as proof of service.
A free breakfast by Chris Cakes will be offered from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for veterans and one guest each.
Other activities will include:
- 9:30 Marion Presidential Brass Band
- 10:00 Presentation of Colors
- Pledge of Allegiance
- Music
- Veteran Speaker
- Recognition of Veterans
- The Laying of the Wreath
- Taps
