Marion Lecture Recital Music Club (MLRMC) is giving the gift of “A Grand Night for Singing” to club members and to the public on Sunday, April 27, 2014. Robert Nims, retired music professor who is a member of the adjunct voice faculty at Delaware’s Ohio Wesleyan University, organized the appearance of three professional opera soloists to sing for a program of audience-pleasing Favorite Arias from Favorite Operas.
The concert will be held at 4:00 p.m. at Central Christian Church, 421 Mt. Vernon Avenue in Marion. Admission is free but donations to help defray expenses will be gratefully accepted.
MLRMC is extending a special invitation to the private vocal music teachers and to the area high school vocal music faculties and students to attend this “entertaining and educational music experience.”
