Mark Wood – River Valley Orchestra Concert

Emmy-winning composer, and electric violinist Mark Wood with vocalist Laura Kaye are joined by the River Valley Orchestra and Choir for a unique musical experience that you do not want to miss. The musical selections include Wood’s own compositions, arrangements of classic rock and contemporary music such as Ozzy Osbourne’s “Crazy Train,” Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway To Heaven,” and the Rolling Stones’ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want.”

Mark and his team are celebrating their 17th year of rocking schools and universities across the nation. From the prestigious Juilliard School of Music in New York to low-income districts such as Nogales High School in Arizona, the premise is simple – Wood works with the school’s music directors to tailor design a rock orchestra makeover culminating in a live performance.

All profits from tickets sold to this event directly benefit the River Valley Local Schools music programs.
