The Marion Merchants Baseball Club is holding a Pitch, Hit, and Run event on April 27, 2014 at 2:00 PM in Lincoln Park. The free competition is open to ages 7-14.

Those wining their group could move on to other competitions at Major League ballparks and the PHR National Finals at the 2014 MLB All-Star Game.

Competitors will:

  • Pitch – Throw strikes to a designated target
  • Hit – Hit from a stationary batting tee for distance and accuracy
  • Run – Sprint from 2nd base to home plate for time
