Rags, Riches, Jewels or Junk

The Marion County Historical Society, Kingston Residence of Marion, and Garth’s Art and Auctions are presenting “Rags, Riches, Jewels or Junk,” their very own version of the popular PBS program Antiques Road Show.

This event, open to the general public, will take place from 3 to 6 PM on Monday, October 6, 2014 at Kingston Residence of Marion, 464 James Way in Marion. Local expert Steve Bemiller from Garth’s Art and Auctions in Delaware will offer approximate verbal appraisals on antiques.

MCHS members will receive one appraisal free upon proof of membership and pay $5 per item for additional items. Non-members may purchase appraisals at a cost $5 per item. Total appraisals per person are limited to three items to ensure everyone gets a chance.

Proceeds from this event will help support the operations of the Heritage Hall museum and the outreach and education programs offered by the Marion County Historical Society.
