Retirement Readiness Series: Retirement Assets

The Marion County Council on Aging is sponsoring a series of Retirement Readiness classes. The information is geared to those who are newly or nearly retired.

All classes are free, but reservations are required.  Interested persons can register for any or all classes that are in interest.

Topics and dates are as follows:

• August 29 – Now that you are considering retirement, are your concerned that your retirement income may not meet all your financial needs?  Learn how to make the most of your retirement assets.  Presented by Lars Olsen, Financial Advisor with Merrill Lynch.
• September 25 – Medicare is one of the most important and basic elements of your retirement planning.  Representatives from the Ohio Department of Insurance will give an overview of all the different parts of Medicare, and what they do and do not cover.

Each will start at 1:30 pm at the Council on Aging office, located at 125 Executive Dr,  Suite 102.
