The April 14, 2014 luncheon meeting for Marion Women’s Business Council will host Marion’ Director of Public Safety Tom Robbins. Robbins will discuss the timely subject of identity theft.
Tom Robbins has served the Citizens of Marion for the past 39 years, the first 32 in the Marion Police Department holding the positions of Communications Officer, Patrol Officer, Sergeant, Captain and Major. He is a graduate of the Marion Police Academy, Northwestern University School of Staff & Command, The Ohio State University Police Executive Leadership College & the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va. Robbins retired from the Marion Police Department in 2007 and was appointed Director of Public Safety for the City of Marion in January 2008.
The luncheon meeting will be Monday, April 14 at the TRECA Building, 100 Executive Drive, Marion. The program is slated to start with networking at 11:30 a.m. Interested potential new WBC members may check out the day’s luncheon for half price – $6 instead of $13 with an RSVP.
