Event Raises Thousands For Cancer Society

bluefusion entertainment center & Jazzercise raised close to $4000.00 for the American Cancer Society through the event ”Laugh for Life” which was held in Poppy’s Sports Bar & Grille, located inside bluefusion entertainment on Saturday, March 20th, 2010.

Laugh for Life featured Comedian Jeff Robinson. Jeff is the creator of “Comics for a Cure”, an annual benefit show held in Delaware, Ohio, which also raises money for the American Cancer Society. Robinson has been the feature act and headliner all over the state of Ohio including The Funny Bone, The Improv and The Blue Cat. He is also a winner of the QFM96 Wags and Elliot Comedy competition.

Also performing was the improv troupe “See You Thursday”, the resident troupe of Pull the String Productions, a non-profit organization developed by co-founders Bill Sabo and Sean Wheeler to promote the awareness, education and creative development of improvisational performance in Central Ohio.

Mayor: Scott Schertzer, County Commissioner: Andy Applefeller, & Marion Chamber of Commerce Director: Pam Hall were celebrity servers for the evening. A silent auction and 50/50 raffle raised additional funds for the event.
