The Altrusa Club of Marion is hosting the second annual “PARTY” shopping extravaganza. Vendors from most home party companies and many local small businesses will be on hand.
Free to the public, this event will be May 6, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Tri Rivers JVS in the multi-purpose room.
Included will be three Avon representatives, Pampered Chef, Tupperware, Mary Kay and Tastefully Simple. There will be jewelry from Premier, Jewels by Park Lane, Silpada, and Designs by Norma. To help you plan your wedding, visit with Memorable Impressions. Creative Memories will help you with your scrapbooking needs and Cabi will provide the latest in wearables. Visitors will find insurance, neck and back pain specialists, Advocare, Nutrilite, Great Impressions, Studio D, Inspirations, and more. Beautiful flowers from Marion Flower Shop will be available for purchase.
And while there, vote for your favorite dessert. For a $5 donation you can sample desserts from New Beginnings, The Warehouse, Sonic, Ta Die For Cupcakes and Starbucks. Fresh coffee will be available free from Starbucks. Tickets are limited to 100, so get there early.
If you don’t see what you are looking for, you can book a home party with one of the vendors. Or, if you are interested in a career selling one of the products you see on display, vendors can provide employment information.
Altrusa says they believe in the “Keep the Cash in Marion” philosophy and hopes you visit their sales event.
Proceeds from this Altrusa event benefit a Club program called Rx Marion which provides one-time prescription drug assistance through Marion General Hospital Foundation and their social services department. Altrusa is an International Service Organization which has been active in the Marion community since 1925.
