The Elgin FFA is selling fish fingerlings to the public for use in stocking ponds.
The Elgin FFA says they are offering new and established pond owners the opportunity to stock their ponds more conveniently and at low cost with Ohio raised fish.
Fish orders will be accepted until Friday, April 23, 2010. Fish will be supplied through Fisheadz Farm, Mt. Gilead, Ohio.
A transport trailer will be at Elgin High School Ag area on Saturday, May 15 at 1:00 PM to distribute the fish. Fish will be packaged in Oxygen enhanced water bags. You need to bring coolers, containers, etc. to protect bags during transport.
To order, simply fill out an order form with your selections and mail it, along with a check or money order for the total amount, to: Elgin FFA 1239 Keener Rd Marion, Ohio 43302.
