The final luncheon meeting of the season for the Women’s Business Council is “going to the dogs — and cats.” After the meal the Marion County Humane Society’s program will feature some adoptable friends who presently live at the society. Learn about the non-profit’s drive to care for our abandoned furry friends, and what it takes to run the day-to-day operations.
As a tribute of support to the Marion County Humane Society’s efforts, please consider bringing one or more of the following as a donation: dog or cat food, litter, paper towels or even cleaning supplies.
The luncheon will be Monday, May 10 at the Country Gatherings, 1775 Marion-Waldo Rd, Marion. The program is slated to start with networking at 11:30 a.m.
If interested in attending the luncheon, you should make reservations by calling Karen Bateman at (740) 375-3806. The luncheon price will be $12 with the deadline for reservations Thursday, May 6.
Organizers ask you to join them to see if you would like to become a member of the Marion Women’s Business Council, an organization dedicated to programming and networking opportunities for women in business.
