Mike Thomas has been named Director of Finance for Marion General Hospital. Hospital officials say Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in healthcare finance settings.
Thomas joins the hospital from Galion Community Hospital where he most recently served as controller, a position he had held since 2002. Prior to his role at Galion Community, he was director of reimbursement at OhioHealth for six years.
Thomas has experience as a healthcare finance professional with expertise in numerous areas including reimbursement, forecasting and budgeting, benchmarking and governmental cost reporting.
Thomas earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting at Otterbein College, Columbus.
