Marion Republicans of the Month Named

The March and April Republicans of the Month have been named by the Marion County Republican Central and Executive Committee.  They are Judith O'Hare for March and Alec M. Orewiler for April.

O'Hare, who is a graduate of Harding High School, has been active in a number of community and outreach activities.  She is a a volunteer for Mobile Meals, involved with Marion Senior Center and the Marion Steppin Seniors, a member of Voices of Liberty – Marion 912 Project, Union County 912 Project, the Columbus Tea Party and a social member of the local Knights of Columbus. She is a Precinct Committee woman in the county GOP.

She retired from Verizon and works part-time at Tim Horton's.  O'Hare and her husband, James, have three children and four grandchildren.

Orewiler, a student at River Valley High School has formed the Teenage Republican Club, and is in the Salem Evangelical Youth group, 9-12, and is seeking to begin a teenage Bible study group at the church.

The 16-year-old is the son of Chuck and Amy Orewiler and has a 12-year-old brother, Caden.
