Reliable drinking water supplies are fundamental for public health, fire protection, economic development, and the overall quality of life communities and individuals enjoy. Ohio American Water says because of that it is raising awareness throughout its service communities about wise water use and ways that consumers can help to protect our drinking water.
“While we are constantly investing in and working to improve the water infrastructure in our service districts, we must be aware of our water resources and how the actions of each and every one of us can impact these sources,” stated Ohio American Water President David Little. “We are encouraging our customers to fix leaks, upgrade to water efficient appliances and fixtures, monitor water use and avoid activities that may contaminate or degrade water resources.”
