The American Red Cross will conduct an open blood drive at the Marion Area Health Center, 1050 Delaware Avenue, on Monday, August 30th. Collection hours run from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Donors from outside the facility should enter through Door #7 at the rear of the complex. The drive will be held in conference rooms A, B & C on the building’s lower level.
The Red Cross in central Ohio has seen a 10% dip in donations this summer and eligible donors are encouraged to consider giving at this drive.
Volunteers with appointments are given priority at all drives; walk-ins are welcomed whenever schedules permit.

Participating donors at Monday’s Marion Area Health Center Drive will each receive a coupon for a free 7” personal “Pizza to Go” from CiCi’s of Marion. Contact the restaurant at 740-386-2191 for complete details. They also may register for two free raffles. Winners from these regional drawings may receive fuel cards from Marathon – ranging from $100 to $1,000 – or a pair of tickets to an OSU home football game.
