Marion Drive-Thru Robbed

The Marion Police Department says a local drive-thru was robbed at gunpoint late in the evening on Tuesday, April 23. Officers responded to General Sales Drive Thru, 450 Jefferson Street, at 10:13pm and say the suspect brandished a firearm and demanded money from the clerk.

The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money. He is described as a white male, 5’8” to 5’10” tall and 160-180 lbs. He has lighter brown hair and was wearing a tan jacket with a make-shift mask over his face.
