Marion General Hospital Volunteers Recognized

Marion General Hospital recently celebrated the contributions made by its volunteers with a banquet and entertainment at the Marion Palace Theatre. Over the past year, the more than 300 volunteers contributed nearly 40,000 hours of time and donated approximately $250,000 through various fundraising efforts conducted by the TWIG groups.

Along with a wonderful meal, volunteers and their guests were treated to a concert performed by the Palace Theatre Big Band, under the direction of Mr. George Schram, including vocalists Johnny Steiner, Megan Withrow and Sarah Wenig.
