Two committees of Marion City Council will meet on Monday, July 2. Topics on the agendas include discussion of the 2013 budget and engineering for construction projects.
Finance Committee will meet at 6:30pm to discuss the preliminary budget for 2013, authorizing the advertising for bids for fuel and road paint, and two transfers within the fire department budget.
Municipal Services, Parks, and Recreation Committee will meet at 6:45pm to discuss a contract for professional engineering services to assist with several sewer and street improvement projects. The committee will also get an update on the DKMM Solid Waste Management Plan for 2012.
Marion City Council Committees meet on the second floor of City Hall and all meetings are open to the public.
