The American Board of Podiatric Surgery recently notified Dr. Timothy J. Brown that he has successfully completed all the requirements for recertification. Brown will also continue as a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.
This certification is based on Dr. Brown’s passing his re-certification examination in February 2012. The examination tested his knowledge of diagnostic and surgical competence in management of conditions pertaining to the foot and ankle. This rigorous examination is mandatory every ten years in order to maintain Board Certification.
Dr. Brown has an independent practice known as Ankle and Foot Specialists of Marion. He has active surgical privileges at New Horizon’s Surgery Center, Marion General Hospital, and Marion Area Health Center. Dr. Brown also provides care at the Marion General Hospital Wound Care Clinic.
Dr. Brown is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and adjunct clinical faculty member of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, in Cleveland, Ohio.
