The creators of "Chicken Run" and "Wallace & Gromit" have teamed up to bring a new animated adventure to the big screen."The Pirates! Band of Misfits" is described by IMDB.com as a story about a Pirate Captain who sets out on a mission to defeat his rivals Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz for the Pirate of the year Award. The quest takes Captain and his crew from the shores of Blood Island to the foggy streets of Victorian London. This film is appropriate for families and rated PG for mild action, rude humor and some language.
"The Pirates! Band of Misfits" will play at the Marion Palace Theatre Friday, June 1 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, June 2 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, June 3 at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $4/Adults, $3/Seniors (62 & over), $2/Children (12 and under).
