Two Vacation Bible Schools (VBS) kick off next week, June 18-22, in the Marion area. One is at Timothy Lutheran Church while the other is at Central Baptist Church.
Timothy Lutheran Church, 3004 Marion-Mt. Gilead Road, invites all children of the community, age 4 through grade 6, to Vacation Bible School. The theme for this year is “Sky–Everything is Possible With God!”
Sky VBS is filled with Bible-learning experiences, team-building games, Bible songs, snacks, and crafts. Plus, they say they’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life.
The times are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 11:30am. On Friday from 9:00am to 3:00pm, they’ll take their annual trek to Lutheran Memorial Camp for a full day of summer fun as they play games, have a picnic lunch and go swimming, weather permitting. Parents are welcome to come along and also help out during the week.
VBS Celebration Sunday will be on Sunday, June 24 at Timothy Lutheran Church. Brunch will be provided at no cost between services at 10:15am.
There are two ways to fill out registration forms. You can register on the church website at www.tlcmarion.com. Click on VBS registration form on the homepage. You can also call the church at 389-2410, or email, [email protected].
