Marion Popcorn Festival officials are encouraging residents to help support and enjoy the Festival by wearing official Marion Popcorn Festival apparel. This year’s theme, The Wild, Wild West, is displayed on tee shirts designed by local Marion resident Joe Howard.
Joe’s paintings are found throughout Marion although he is best known locally for the watercolor, “Sledding at the Harding Memorial”. He is a self-taught artist who specializes in watercolor and oils and focuses predominately on architectural structures of historical significance. Joe is a member of both the National and Ohio Watercolor Societies and has won several awards throughout the years. His complete gallery of work can be found on the website, HowardArt.com.
