32nd Annual Popcorn 100 Bike Tour Slated

Popcorn FestivalPlan to join the many cyclists participating in the 32nd annual Marion General Hospital Popcorn 100 Bike Tour, slated for Saturday, September 8. This family-friendly bike ride consists of two routes (25- and 62-mile) that take riders through some of the most scenic areas of Marion County.

Registration forms are available from Marion General’s public relations department or you can register the morning of the ride.

Participants sign-in at McKinley Park shelter house adjacent to the hospital from 7 to 9 a.m. on ride day, with both routes getting underway at 8 a.m. Please note that riders who depart before the designated start time cannot be guaranteed safety coverage.

Same-day registration will be available during sign-in hours until the 500-rider limit is met. Riders should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to desired departure time.

Registration fees are $14 for individuals and $10 for each additional family member. The fees cover snack stops, a route map, road markings, safety coverage, an embroidered patch, and a special treat following the ride.
