Edwards Named Republican of the Month

The Marion County Republican Central and Executive Committee has announced the selection of Warren Tom Edwards as Republican of the Month for July. The Caledonia resident is on the November ballot as a candidate for judge of the Marion County Common Pleas Court.

Edwards was reared in Marion and is a graduate of Harding High School.  He received his undergraduate degree from Capital University and his law degree from The Ohio State University College of Law.  He began his career as a law clerk with the civil firm of Decker, Vonau, Sybert, Lackey & Viets and then joined the Franklin County Prosecutor’s office as assistant prosecuting attorney. For more than a decade, he says he has prosecuted thousands of felony crimes, none of which have been reversed on appeal.

Edwards is a lector and greeter at St. Johns Windfall Lutheran Church, and is active with Boy Scout Troop 844, Mini-Vikes Youth Wrestling and the Marion Republican Club. He and his wife, Kelesta, are parents of a daughter, Allison, and son, Jonathan.
